What is Planzone?
Planzone is an online project management application that enables to give a new role to knowledge management and document sharing within your company. It is also truly comfortable to use by all colleagues, contractors and customers, whatever their technical competencies are.
With Planzone, you will be able to directly jump start in building your knowledge base, without any need to think first about data structure. Thanks to an intuitive user interface, everyone can contribute to enrich this knowledge base.

Available and accessible without any previous installation, Planzone is the ideal tool to collaborate from anywhere in the world. Indeed, an internet browser is enough to access all project data stored online, within a couple of clicks. Information structured by project also makes it easier for everyone to work asynchronously, which is a great help for project teams working from different time zones.
Thus, your collaborators are able to work remotely with both contractors and customers in the same workspace, as administrators and project managers can easily control and grant access rights to team members to define what they see and what they don’t. By default, team members will only be able to see projects they are working on.

You just have to fill in a short form requiring a valid email address, on which you’ll get email alerts and activity reports, the name of your Planzone, and its web address. Document sharing
With Planzone, a document sharing space is dedicated to each project managed within your workspace.
The ability to create new versions of a single document enables you to track the change history of a business plan or a market research document very easily, thus giving direct visibility of the contributions of your collaborators to every document. In addition, your project teams are assured that they are working on the latest versions of each document. It is possible of course to organize documents in folders, and/or mark them with tags (keywords) which enable one to quickly find them. Besides access rights that can be granted individually to team members for each project, you can also refine these rights on the folders of your document sharing space with just a click.
Wiki
The competitiveness of a company is always highly impacted by its ability to gather and present knowledge and to communicate about best practices among project teams.
An outstanding ability to merge knowledge and an optimal flow of best practices are two key points that have a major impact on the level of competitiveness of a company.
Planzone lets you internally or externally publish all the knowledge related to a project in a wiki (web-based collaborative notepad), on which every team member can easily type in specifications, useful links and resources, or any other knowledge that brings an added value to the project team along the project development.
Many features of the Planzone wiki were developed to make your collaborators more efficient. For instance, it is possible to create wiki page templates in order to save time creating wiki pages with a structure similar to existing pages. To help you communicate to exactly those with a need to see your project data, any Planzone wiki page can be shared privately by creating a web link sent via private email to a collaborator whom you may not have invited to the Planzone (the rest of the wiki remains viewable only by members). Any individual wiki page can also be made publicly viewable, in which case it can be read by everyone (member or non-member) from the homepage of the Planzone Community website.
Notifications and RSS feeds
Planzone aims to help you save time and improve efficiency: the goal is not to keep you bound to a particular tool. To make project monitoring easier when you’re not connected to Planzone, you can use email alerts. Email alerts are generated from specific actions (edition of a document, completed to-do, acceptation of an invitation…) and you can then choose events for which you want to be informed by email, in real-time. Moreover, you can also set up activity reports, which consolidate a list of these events on the basis of a pre-determined frequency (daily, weekly, monthly…)
