Share Planzone pages via email!

All wiki pages can be shared via email. Just click on the “Share” icon of the page you want to send an email with a secured link to a team member, friend or partner. Enter the email addresses or import them from your address book (gmail, yahoo!, aol…).

In some cases, the recipients do not need to be Planzone members; therefore this feature is very useful when you want to share a page with a customer, partner or any stakeholder of the project.

Sharing a link via email is much simpler than sending a page as an attached document. Your recipients don’t have to download any pdf or other file to see your page content. They only need to click on your link.

Advantages of this new feature

  • Confidentiality: you can choose specifically the pages you want to share.

  • Easier than an attached file, one click to send it for you and no download for your recipient.

  • Keep control on what you send. Whenever you want, you can deactivate the link. In that case, nobody can access to the page anymore.

  • Update your content. When you update a wiki page you can choose to update the content of the page shared via the secured link.

So if you need to share a wiki page, (containing a meeting report, a review or a specification] with people who are not members of your Planzone, then just send them a link via email!

You can also publish a wiki page as a public website page. Thanks to this feature you can create a real extranet and use the internet technology to communicate on your project. Soon, these public pages will also enable you to communicate about your business or project though the Planzone Community. Have a look at the Planzone Community Alpha version.
