Planzone is a hosted Internet service that users can access from anywhere with an Internet connection and Web browser. Virtual workspaces called ‘Planzones’ are used to manage projects and collaborate. Each Planzone provides a wiki that is accessible to all workspace members. A Planzone can contain many projects. Each Project workspace also offers a project-centric wiki. Project workspaces allow you to define tasks and milestones, record notes and store documents. At your convenience, you also get a regular email digest report of all the changes that took place within your Planzone: tasks completed, new tasks added, new team member, new document version uploaded, etc.
Planzone allows you to participate in, and manage, multiple Planzones with a single login. For example, you can be an invited member of Creative Designs, Inc.’s Planzone, and also have your own Planzone account for your local university alumni association branch. When you log in, you get visibility on all your projects. Confidentiality is always protected as you only see the information that you are entitled to see – and the same applies to other members.
Planzone also provides an open community workspace for sharing project templates and other professional information across all Planzones and all members.
